Serenity House I & II are completely furnished and decorated 3 and 4 bedroom homes for men who are actively working a program of recovery from alcohol and/or drug addiction.

The houses are centrally located in a residential neighborhood within the City of San Juan Capistrano, Orange County, California.  It is a beach community without the beach traffic.  Dana Point Harbor and Pacific Ocean beaches are just four miles down a safe public bicycle trail.  Although there is adequate parking for all our residents/guests, vehicles are not a necessity, as the houses are located within a very short walking distance to:  medical/dental offices, churches of all denominations, grocery, department and clothing stores, restaurants, fast food, coffee shops, audio/video stores, dry cleaners and other conveniences.

Recovery meetings of all types are also within a short walking distance.  AA and NA meetings are just across the street.  We are 12 step oriented and open to all who wish to remain sober.  We offer no medical or psychological counseling although it is available in our community.

Along with being completely furnished, each home has big screen and/or plasma televisions along with wireless internet connections. Kitchens are fully stocked with all necessary cookware and dishes and there is adequate refrigeration and storage space for each individual.  Gas barbeques adorn our outdoor patios along with patio furniture for dining and relaxing.  A full time, live in, resident in charge/house manager is present at all times.
